The foundation

A ledger.
Not a number.

Most wallet plugins keep the balance as one overwritable number. Elite Balance writes every movement as an immutable row that carries the balance after it, and every operation carries a key, so a duplicate gateway webhook can replay but never repeat.

Append-only. Each row carries the balance after it. Duplicates replay; they never charge twice.

The features

Five things it does
better than anything else.

Checkout

Pays fully. Or partly. Or with a discount.

The wallet is simply another payment method when the balance covers the order, covers what it can alongside any other gateway when it does not, and can earn customers an automatic discount for paying fully by wallet.

  • Classic checkout and Checkout Blocks, from day one
  • Funds reserve at placement, move only when the order is paid
  • Every cap and discount re-validates server side

Earning

Rewards with an undo button.

Cashback, top-up bonuses, signup, review, and birthday rewards, as rules you create in minutes. And the part competitors get wrong: refund the order, and its cashback reverses itself. Promotions never leak money.

  • Awards can never double, and nothing is retroactive
  • Partial refunds reverse proportionally, never below zero
  • Anything unrecoverable is flagged for a human

Withdrawals

Money out.
Paper trail on.

Customers request money out and the funds stop being spendable that second. Your team pays externally and records the reference. The plugin never transmits money, so there are no stored payout credentials to breach.

  • Per-method fees, limits, and rejection reasons customers see
  • CSV bank files and WP-CLI for payout day
  • Payout details auto-erase when the job is done

Operations

A control room, not a settings page.

Liability, holds, and attention items on one Overview. Bulk credits against real audiences with a live preview and a review step. CSV import for the spreadsheet finance already has. One filterable, exportable ledger under it all.

  • Every adjustment records who, when, and a required why
  • Drill from any operation or rule to its exact ledger rows
  • Lock a wallet in a dispute; credits still land

Switching

Switch in one click. Keep the receipts.

WP Swings, TeraWallet, YITH Account Funds, and Account Funds for WooCommerce ship built in; a custom meta key covers most of the rest. One click freezes the old plugin, imports every balance, and proves the totals match.

  • Every balance imports exactly once, however often you run it
  • Broken values reported per customer, never guessed at
  • Other plugins plug in through a documented hook

Performance

Built for busy stores.

Before any release ships, Elite Balance is load-tested on a store far bigger than most will ever run, and the math is re-proved to the cent. You install it, you use it, you never think about it again.

0.06msper balance read. Checkout stays instant on your busiest day of the year.
0reconciliation mismatches, ever. Every wallet re-proved against its own history, on every release.
225,000wallets in the test store every release must handle.
646,012ledger rows with history pages still under a millisecond.
48sto migrate 216,274 balances from another plugin, reconciled to the cent.

These are not marketing numbers; they are release criteria. A build that misses them does not ship.

The full picture

Everything. In the box.

No add-ons, no tiers, no "pro" upsell. One plugin, every feature.

The append-only ledger

The foundation under every feature on this page: immutable rows, running balances, idempotency keys on every money path, and history that survives even uninstalling. Corrections are new rows. Nothing is ever edited away.

+50.00 top-up → 50.00
-12.40 order #8817 → 37.60
+1.24 cashback → 38.84
REPLAYED duplicate webhook → 38.84

Self-reversing cashback

Refund a cashback order and the award claws itself back, proportionally on partial refunds, never below a zero balance, flagged for a human when the credit was already spent.

Five earning triggers

Order cashback, top-up bonus, signup, product review (verified buyers only), and birthday, with campaign windows, conditions, and per-rule counters that drill into the ledger.

Full & partial payments

The wallet covers the whole order, or what it can while any other gateway takes the rest. Classic checkout and Blocks.

Pay-by-wallet discount

Percent or fixed, applied automatically on full wallet payments, re-validated server side. Stacks honestly with cashback.

Top-ups

Customers add funds through your normal gateways, with limits and a gateway allow-list you control.

Refund to store credit

Turn any refund into wallet credit with one action, anchored to the real WooCommerce refund record.

Withdrawal requests

Hold-backed, fee-aware money out with a staff queue, CSV bank files, and WP-CLI. Payout details auto-erase as PII.

The customer wallet page

Balance, top-up, withdraw, and a full history under My Account. Rename it, re-slug it, override the template.

Adjustments with a why

Credit or debit anyone, reason required. Who, when, how much, and why, recorded permanently.

Bulk on real audiences

Registration age, activity, order history, role, wallet state. Live preview, review step, background run.

CSV import

A spreadsheet of customers and amounts in; every problem row listed before anything moves.

One-click migration

Four wallet plugins supported built in, plus a custom meta key, with a reconciliation report that proves the totals.

Nine lifecycle emails

Credited, debited, low balance, and the withdrawal set, all on WooCommerce email screens with editable bodies.

The exportable ledger

Filter by type, customer, source, or earning rule. Export CSV. Drill down from anything to its rows.

Wallet locking

Freeze spending during a dispute. Credits, refunds, and reserved captures still land safely.

A developer platform

Documented hooks on everything, overridable templates, custom transaction types, a block, and WP-CLI.

Reconcile on demand

One command re-proves every wallet equals the sum of its history. Run it any night you feel like checking.

Security

It holds money.
So it was built paranoid.

Locked doors everywhere

Capability checks and one-time tokens on every admin action; customers only ever see and spend their own wallet.

No double charges, provably

Idempotency on every money path: retries, double clicks, and crashed jobs replay the original result.

An unerasable paper trail

The ledger is append-only and survives uninstalling. Corrections are new rows; history is never edited.

Staff notes stay private

Your team's reasons never reach customers, who see neutral, system-composed descriptions only.

PII treated like PII

Payout details are visible to wallet managers only, never appear in exports or URLs, and auto-erase after the job is done.

Nothing phones home

No license servers, no tracking. Licensing and updates run through your WooCommerce.com account.

The honest table

The moments where wallets break.

A typical wallet plugin
Elite Balance
Where the balance lives
One overwritable number.
An append-only ledger; every row carries the balance after it.
A gateway notifies twice
Credited or charged twice.
The duplicate replays. Nothing moves twice, provably.
A cashback order is refunded
The cashback usually stays.
The award reverses itself, proportionally, never below zero.
A customer wants money out
A status field and good intentions.
Reserved funds, human decisions, a reference on every payout.
Switching wallet plugins
Manual exports, finger-crossing.
One click, then a reconciliation report proves the totals.
After uninstalling
History is gone.
The ledger survives. History is never edited.

"Typical" describes the common balance-as-a-number architecture, not any one product.

FAQ

Before you buy.

What store owners ask us about Elite Balance, answered straight.

01

How do licensing and updates work?

Elite Balance is sold on the WooCommerce Marketplace, so your purchase is a WooCommerce.com subscription: license validation and one-click updates run through your WooCommerce.com account. There is no license key to paste and the plugin never phones home.

02

Will it work with my theme and my checkout?

Yes. It supports the classic checkout and the Cart and Checkout Blocks, and every customer-facing template can be overridden from your theme. If your setup surfaces a gap, we treat it as our bug, not yours.

03

Can I migrate from my current wallet plugin?

Very likely, in one click. Migration from WP Swings Wallet System, TeraWallet (Wallet for WooCommerce), YITH WooCommerce Account Funds, and Account Funds for WooCommerce ships built in: the old plugin is frozen (its data is kept), every balance imports exactly once no matter how often you run it, and a reconciliation report proves the totals match to the cent. Most other wallet plugins are covered by the custom meta key importer, and developers can plug any source into the same engine through a documented hook.

04

Why is it premium instead of free?

Because it moves real money, and software that moves money needs the same care as client work: real support, real updates, and no upsell banners inside your dashboard. A paid license is what keeps that promise fundable.

On the WooCommerce Marketplace

Money is sacred.
Your wallet plugin should act like it.

One purchase. Licensing and updates through your WooCommerce.com account, support from the people who wrote every line.
