Most wallet plugins keep one number per customer and overwrite it. Elite Balance writes every movement as a row that carries the balance after it. Rows are never edited, and a payment reported twice changes nothing the second time.

The store moved from TeraWallet. One screen imported every balance, showed a report that the totals match, and copied the old transaction log. Leila reads it on her Earlier activity tab; the store sees it on her wallet screen.

Leila topped up through the store’s usual payment methods and earned a 10% bonus. It waited 30 days as pending, so a refund inside that window would only have shrunk it. Her wallet page told her when it would land.

When the balance covers the order, the wallet is a payment method in classic or block checkout, with an optional discount for paying that way. The amount leaves the wallet the moment the order is placed.

Withdrawals

Money out. Paper trail on.

Leila’s request held $30 straight away, so she can’t spend it twice. The store sends the money its own way, then records the transfer reference and any fee. The plugin never moves money itself.

Partial payments

Use what you have. Pay the rest by card.

With $30 held, only part of Leila’s balance was free. She ticked Use my wallet balance and paid the rest by card. The wallet part is held until the order is paid, and released if the order fails or is cancelled.

Each cashback rule decides whether the part paid from the wallet earns cashback too. This store said no, so she earns on the card part only.

Refunds

The refund goes back. The cashback follows.

Refund to wallet sits next to WooCommerce’s own refund buttons and is tied to the real refund. On a mixed order the card part refunds first, then the rest returns to the wallet. Leila’s pending $1.80 shrinks with it; cashback already released would be taken back in proportion.

How do licensing and updates work?

Elite Balance is sold on the WooCommerce Marketplace, so your purchase is a WooCommerce.com subscription: license validation and one-click updates run through your WooCommerce.com account. There is no license key to paste and the plugin never phones home.

Will it work with my theme and my checkout?

Yes. It supports the classic checkout and the Cart and Checkout Blocks, and every customer-facing template can be overridden from your theme. If your setup surfaces a gap, we treat it as our bug, not yours.

Can I migrate from my current wallet plugin?

Very likely, from one screen. Migration from WP Swings Wallet System, TeraWallet (Wallet for WooCommerce), YITH WooCommerce Account Funds, and Account Funds for WooCommerce ships built in: you switch the old plugin off (its data is kept), every balance imports exactly once no matter how often you run it, and a reconciliation report shows the totals match to the cent. The old transaction history comes across too, read only, as Earlier activity for your customers and your team. Most other wallet plugins are covered by the custom meta key importer, and developers can plug any source into the same engine through a documented hook.

Why is it premium instead of free?

Because it moves real money, and software that moves money needs the same care as client work: real support, real updates, and no upsell banners inside your dashboard. A paid license is what keeps that promise fundable.

Where do I get support?

Through your WooCommerce.com account: open a support request from My Account on WooCommerce.com and it reaches us, the people who wrote the plugin. The Tools tab in Elite Balance has a Support section with your site details ready to copy into the request. The documentation, also on WooCommerce.com, covers every screen and setting.

What happens to wallet data if I uninstall?

Nothing, by default. Balances and the full ledger stay in your database, so reinstalling picks up exactly where you left off. If you really want everything gone, turn on Delete data on uninstall under the Advanced settings first.
